Yerevan/Mediamax/. Volume of money transfers to Armenia to individuals via commercial banks made 97bln AMD (459 575 transfers) in the second quarter, 2010. Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Central Bank that in the accounting period the net inflow of money transfers by international systems of transfers made 71bln AMD. As compared to the second quarter, 2009, this index increased by 6bln AMD. The average volume of one transfer made 212 thousand AMD, having increased for 7 thousand AMD or by 3.2%, as compared to the analogous period last year. All in all, money transfers to individuals in Armenia via commercial banks and payment-account companies made 136bln AMD in the second quarter, 2010, having increased by 8.3%, as compared to the same period last year.
