Yerevan/Mediamax/. Growth of “Ameriabank” leasing services’ volume in the first half of 2010 made 187%.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the bank that by the end of 2009, 7% of the aggregate leasing portfolio of the Armenian banking system fell on the share of the bank, however following the results of the first half of 2010, this index increased up to 18.4%.

In the beginning of 2010, leasing portfolio of “Ameriabank” made 383mln AMD. Following the results of the first quarter, increase of the portfolio made 44% (up to 553mln AMD), as compared to the beginning of the year, and following the results of the second quarter it made 99% (up to 1bln 99mln AMD), as compared to the first quarter.

“Ameriabank” plans to continue active progress in the Armenian market of leasing services”, the press service of the bank informed, adding that as of August 12, “Ameriabank” leasing portfolio made 1bln 861mln AMD (1/4 of the aggregate leasing portfolio of the Armenian banking system), exceeding the index of the beginning of the year 4.9 times.
