Yerevan /Mediamax/. “HSBC Bank Armenia” and the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship National Development Center (SMENDC) opened a Trade Financing Academy in Yerevan today. Mediamax reports that SMENDC Executive Director Karen Gevorgyan stated that the Academy will hold free of charge seminars three times a month for companies, which intend to develop business in the sphere of international trade. “The seminars will be held by “HSBC Bank Armenia” trade financing specialists, who will share their knowledge with heads and financial managers of companies, functioning in the sphere of import and export”, Karen Gevorgyan stated. “HSBC Bank Armenia” CEO Astrid Clifford stated that HSBC Trade Financing Academy successfully functions in a number of countries of the bank’s presence, in particular, in Great Britain, France and Georgia. According to Astrid Clifford, during seminars, they will present tools and solutions of international trade financing, risks and means to minimize them, the most efficient ways of entering the international market.
