Yerevan/Mediamax/. “HSBC Bank Armenia” did not carry out any staff reduction, conditioned by the crisis, General Director of the bank Astrid Clifford stated.

Mediamax reports that Astrid Clifford said this, answering the comments of readers in her interview to www.Banks.am portal (http://banks.am/am-news-3-4289.html). 

“Unfortunately, the bank had to close its consumer crediting offices, which, naturally, lead to reduction of staff. Besides, a number of the bank’s employees were fired because of low yearly attestation indices”, Astrid Clifford stated.

She noted that “HSBC Bank Armenia” has already hired back a few successful employees, who were left without a job because of reduction of workplaces. She also did not rule out that the bank will continue this practice in future as well.
