Yerevan /Mediamax/. Number of “Ameriabank” customers increased by 57% in 2009 and made 13 114 as of the end of December.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the bank, at that the number of legal entities increased by 66.9%, and individuals – 55.3% in the accounting period, while in general the increase of customer base of the banking sector in the country made 11.9% (increase among legal entities – 16%, and individuals – 11.7%) in 2009.

The press service of the bank also noted that 31 out of 100 top taxpayers in Armenia are active customers of “Ameriabank”.

In 2009, the number of bank accounts in “Ameriabank” increased by 79.7%, at that the increase among legal entities made 67.9% and among individuals – 82.2%. At that, 89.4% of the bank’s customers are individuals.
