Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia pays special attention to attracting foreign investments, President Serzh Sargsian stated today.

Mediamax reports that, speaking at the Armenian-Latvian business forum in Yerevan today, which is taking place within the framework of Latvian President’s state visit, Serzh Sargsian stated that there are no limitations as to presence of foreign capital in Armenian economy and emphasized the absence of cases, when a major investor would leave the country.

President stressed that “the Armenian leadership guarantees safety of all investments”.

Serzh Sargsian reminded that the result of the Armenian-Latvian business forum, which took place within the framework of the Latvian President’s visit to Yerevan in 2005, was establishment of “Norvik” Credit Organization in Armenia – the subsidiary company of Latvian “Lateko Bank”.
