Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Ameriabank” presented renewable energy crediting program today to representatives of the Armenian energy sector.

Mediamax reports that, speaking at the loan product presentation, the Corporate Customers Director of the bank Levon Arevshatyan informed that within the framework of the given loan program, the companies may turn for loans for constructing or modernizing small hydro and wind power plants with the capacity of up to 10 megawatts. The repayment term for the loans will make 8 years with the period of grace making 3 years. The annual loan interest rates will start from 11%. The loans will be issued in USD.

Levon Arevshatyan informed that the volume of the loan program makes $20mln. According to him, the bank realizes a program both using its own means and the resources of two international financial institutions.

Corporate Customers Director of “Ameriabank” also informed that, to realize the given loan program, the bank implemented a complex of ecological risks forecasting, deterrence and neutralization system in the bank. The system specialists will participate in making decisions on providing a loan to this or that enterprise.
