Yerevan /Mediamax/. Chief Executive Officer of VTB Bank (Armenia) Valeri Ovsyannikov awarded deposit agreements to Armenian winners of international math competition “Kangaroo 2009” today. Mediamax reports that competition winners Erna Petrosyan (deposit at the volume of 500 thousand AMD), Armine Hovhannisyan and Hayk Tepanyan (deposits at the volume of 250 thousand AMD each) received “VTB-Childhood” deposit agreements. Valeri Ovsyannikov congratulated the children with the start of the new academic year, expressing hope that the upcoming “Kangaroo 2010” will be held at a larger scale in Armenia. Executive Director of “AYB” Educational Foundation David Sahakyan, in his turn, thanked VTB Bank (Armenia) leadership for support. He expressed hope that more children will participate in “Kangaroo 2010”, which will take place in March 2010 in Armenia, than it happened this year. Schoolchildren, residing in bordering villages of Armenia, as well as in Javakhk and Artsakh, will be able to participate in “Kangaroo 2010” competition. Previously, general sponsor of “Kangaroo 2009” VTB Bank (Armenia) organized the trip of competition winners to international summer camp in Romania.
