Yerevan /Mediamax/. Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) became a partner of International Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA).

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of “NASDAQ OMX Armenia”, the status of a Partner of ANNA will enable the CDA to establish and develop the ISIN codification system in Armenia, bringing the codes assigned to the Armenian securities in compliance with ISO standards.

“The introduction of the internationally adopted uniform securities numbering system will make the Armenian securities easily identifiable for international institutions and investors, among other things contributing to the streamlining and automation of all related procedures”, “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” informed.

They stressed that the CDA’s cooperation with ANNA is an important step within NASDAQ OMX’ general strategy of introducing and promoting international standards and industry best practices in Armenia.

ANNA was established in 1992 for the purpose of promoting, implementing, maintaining and making available standards for securities and related financial instruments. Currently, ANNA comprises numbering agencies from nearly 100 countries worldwide.
