Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian authorities are ready to take up active practical steps to mitigate the consequences of the global financial-economic crisis.

As Mediamax was told in the presidential press service today, Armenian President Serzh Sargsian said this today during his meeting with IMF delegation, headed by Chief Executive Officer Age Bakker.

The sides discussed programs and prospects of Armenia’s partnership with IMF in conditions of the global crisis. The President gave a high assessment to cooperation between Armenia and IMF and thanked for the assistance rendered.
