On November 13, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan met with Chaitan Jain, Director of International Regulatory Affairs at United Airlines.

The embassy reports that during the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the possibility of establishing direct flights between Los Angeles and Yerevan.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan emphasized the importance of a direct route for Armenia, considering the significant presence of the Armenian diaspora, particularly in Los Angeles. 

At the same time, Chaitan Jain outlined strategic priorities, recent industry trends, and operational considerations of the United Airlines.
