On 24 September, Armenia’s business community and leading specialists gathered in Yerevan to discuss the opportunity to become a shareholder of Telcell. Telcell presented its proposal transparently, offering insight into the process of purchasing shares.“I am pleased to see such significant interest in becoming a shareholder of Telcell. Our goal is to make investing in Telcell attractive not only because of the company’s strong positioning and promising future, but also because it represents a sound and profitable financial decision,” said Artyom Ghazaryan, CEO of Telcell OJSC.During the event, Ghazaryan presented the offer to purchase newly issued shares, followed by a panel discussion with prominent industry experts. The panel included Telcell Board Member Vache Gabrielyan, Deputy CEO Liana Hunanyan, Armbrok Investment Company CEO Aram Kaifajyan, and Finarm Association Executive Director Karen Zakaryan.“Our turnover has grown by an average of 28% annually over the past seven years, and we anticipate a profit of around AMD 2.2 billion this year, representing at least 20% growth compared to 2023,” said Telcell CFO Tamara Sargsyan during the financial presentation.On 18 September 2024, Telcell announced a public share offering valued at AMD 1.5 billion, with shares available for purchase until 30 November 2024.
