43 young people from the Tavush region have celebrated their graduation from a programme enhancing their employability through skills building. The six-month programme implemented jointly by Gyumri Information Technologies Center (GITC) and HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC was set up to help local youth improve their soft skills and participate in free programming, graphic design and marketing courses.“In line with HSBC’s strategy, we are committed to supporting the country's sustainable development. This particular programme was designed to advance the employability of young people in the Tavush region through strengthening their technology skills. I am confident that building employability is a key driver of sustainable development of the regions,” said Irina Seylanyan, CEO of HSBC Armenia.The graduation ceremony, which involved the joint planting of trees, took place in the Ijevan branch of Yerevan State University.
