Yerevan /Mediamax/. Starting from November 15 till December 25, the third All-Armenian E-content Competition, devoted to the 500th anniversary## of Armenian book printing, will take place in Yerevan. Mediamax reports that the Director of “Fund for Information Technologies of Armenia” organization Garegin Chugaszyan informed today that that the competition will take place on 8 nominations: education, healthcare, science, culture, leisure, business, management, electronic involvement. Besides websites, digital carriers with multimedia content can also be presented for the competition. 16 best works will be granted financial prizes (first 8 works – 300 thousand AMD each, the remaining ones – 150 thousand AMD each). Two best works will gain the right to participate in the World E-Content Summit, which will take place in Mexico in May, 2009. The deadline for registration of participants is on December 15, the prize awarding will take place December 20-25. “Fund for Information Technologies of Armenia” and the “Armenian Association of Electronic Content” organize the competition. The sponsors are: the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the Council for assistance to IT development under the Armenian government, All-Armenian “Hayastan” Fund and iCON Communications internet provider.
