Yerevan /Mediamax/. 11 banks and 9 credit organizations## in Armenia believe that in the third quarter of 2008 the economic situation in the country did not change. Mediamax reports that the statistic report of the Central Bank (CB) of Armenia following the results of a poll among banks and credit organizations of the country reads this. According to the report, 7 banks and 8 credit organizations believe that the economic situation in the third quarter improved, and only one bank and 5 credit organizations are sure that the situation aggravated. Nevertheless, as the Statistical Department of the CB states, the results of the previous poll demonstrated that the banks and credit organizations had more optimistic expectations of the third quarter. The expectations of banks and credit organization of the economic situation in Armenia for the fourth quarter of 2008 are the following: 11 banks and 11 credit organizations believe that the economic situation will improve, 10 banks and 8 credit organizations – that it will remain the same, and one bank and 3 credit organizations are sure that the situation will aggravate. According to banks, in December, 2008, USD exchange rate will be relatively stable and will make 299,7 AMD on average.
