Yerevan /Mediamax/. Legal sales of iPhone 3G smartphones in Armenia will start no earlier than the end of 2008##, Director of “Mac AM” Company (official distributor of Apple in Armenia) Ernest Mardoyan stated in an interview to Mediamax.

Commenting on the fact that today the sales of iPhone 3G have official started in Russia, Ernest Mardoyan stated that “the agreement on the start of sales is limited only to the territory of Russia”.

“In Armenia, iPhone 3G will officially appear in the end of the year, at that the connection operators of Armenia will be the retailers, since the remaining suppliers are unable to conclude such a volume deal”, the Head of the Company stated.

The press service of Beeline mobile operator confirmed the possibility of starting the sales of iPhone 3G in Armenia.
