Yerevan /Mediamax/. Presentation of “Pernod Ricard Armenia” Company took place in Yerevan today##.

Mediamax reports that the Company will deal with marketing, sales and distribution of spirit brands, belonging to Pernod Ricard Group, in the territory of Armenia.

Pernod Ricard Armenia will also be involved in distribution of “ArArAt” cognac, produced by Yerevan Brandy Company, in the territory of Armenia.

As the Director of “Pernod Ricard Armenia” CJSC Hasmik Marutyan stated today, the decision to set up the Company was made basing on the principles of Pernod Ricard to divide production and sale and distribution. “The establishment of our Company will allow Yerevan Brandy Company fully focusing on production issues”, Hasmik Marutyan stated.

President and General Director of “Pernod Ricard Eastern Europe” Company Eric Laborde expressed confidence today that the newly-established Company possesses great potential and will be successfully developing.

International Sales Director of Pernod Ricard Group Francois Boivin, in his turn, stated that the decision to establish “Pernod Ricard Armenia” was made in accordance with the principles of the Group: “local roots, international ambitions”.

A ceremony of solemn opening of “Pernod Ricard Armenia” will take place in the building of the National Gallery of Armenia this evening, which will be followed by a laser show and fireworks in the Republic Square.
