Yerevan /Mediamax/. The alternative railroad bridge in Georgia is repaired and trains may already run##, Armenian Minister of Transport and Communications Gurgen Sarkisian stated in an exclusive interview to Mediamax today.

“At present, we are expecting official permission of the leadership of “Georgian Railroad”, according to which the alternative route will be put into operation. So far, the Georgian side has not yet given permission for transportation of cargoes by the alternative bridge”, Gurgen Sarkisian stated.

The Minister of Transport of Armenia stated that at present, there are sufficient strategic reserves of wheat and fuel in Armenia, adding that import through Iran has especially stirred up in the course of the recent few days.
