In the course of the nearest two months a pilot program for provision## of tax reports electronically will be put into operation in Armenia.Deputy Head of the State Tax Service (STS) Robert Kocharian said this in an interview to Mediamax. At the initial stage, it is planned to test the new, yet experimental, way of tax reports provision simultaneously with the existing schemes - handing over the reports directly to the territorial branches of STS and sending them by mail. Robert Kocharian noted that the form and the terms for provision of the reports by the electronic system will not differ from the present ones. The electronic system is in process of elaboration in close cooperation with Yerevan representative office of Microsoft Company. “It is yet early talking about specific dates of full implementation of the new, quite large-scale system”, Kocharian stressed. Of priority importance, according to him, are the issues of providing efficiency and security of the electronic system functioning in accordance with the requirements of the Armenian legislation. The Deputy Head of STS informed that at present the Ministry of Economy of Armenia is carrying out work on the practical implementation of an electronic signature, and this will become the basic perquisite for putting the electronic system of tax reports provision into operation. Robert Kocharian did not rule out that in the course of time Armenia will follow the example of many developed countries and will renounce the use of seal in electronic documentation. Deputy Head of STS informed that in the first place IT-companies, the banking sphere, large and active tax-payers will participate in the testing of the new system. Tweet Views 6160
