Yerevan /Mediamax/. Smartphone iPhone 3G will appear in Armenia simultaneously with the start of sales in the Russian market##.

Director of “Mac AM” LLC (official distributor of Apple in Armenia) Ernest Mardoyan said this in an interview to Mediamax.

“Regional linkage of our country to Russia is conditioned by decoding and Russification of the smartphones for CIS and Baltic States, which is planned to be realized in the end of this year”, he clarified.

“Mac AM” LLC Director refrained from specifying the exact price for iPhone 3G in the Armenian market.

“If in USA and Europe, iPhone 3G is sold in a package with services of the mobile communication operators and the price makes about $200, in Armenia, taking into account the local peculiarities and the black market, the price may reach $1500”, Ernest Mardoyan stated.
