Yerevan /Mediamax/. The gains of “HayPost” CJSC from postal deliveries for the first half of 2008 increased for 45%##, as compared to the same period of 2007, and made 760mln drams.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of “HayPost”, in the mentioned period, about 4mln deliveries were realized by the postal operator.

Over 80% of postal deliveries fell on the share of Yerevan.

“HayPost” CJSC concluded the establishment of “HayPost International” substructure abroad, which will allow the company founding a foreign postal network and increasing the efficiency of foreign deliveries.

In the first half of 2008, “HayPost” received 14mln micropayments. The gains of the company, received from the payment for public services in the accounted period, grew for 8%.

At present, there are 9 fully repaired and reequipped postal department of “HayPost” functioning. By the end of the year the Company plans to make the number reach 50.

Two new postal departments of “HayPost” were opened in Gyumri today at 8 Isahakyan St. and Aznavour Square.

Mediamax reports that, speaking at the opening ceremony today, General Director of “HayPost” CJSC Hans Boon informed that “HayPost” considers important the necessity to modernize and to secure high-speed internet connection in the postal departments of Gyumri, taking into account the fact that, according to the government program, Gyumri should become the center for technologies.--0--
