Yerevan /Mediamax/. The credit portfolio of the commercial banks of Armenia as of April 30 of 2008 made## 503 160mln drams, having increased for 20 205mln drams, as compared to March.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, the volume of credits, provided by banks in foreign currency, as of April 30 made 193 548mln drams, and in national currency – 300 801mln drams.

As of March 31 of 2008, the number of customers of Armenian commercial banks made 971 127, having increased for 15 957 people, as compared to February of 2008. 46 488 from the total number of the customers represent legal entities, 924 639 – individuals.

As of March 31 of 2008, in Armenian banks 1 159 307 bank accounts functioned, having increased for 22 086, as compared to February of 2008.
