Central Bank (CB) of Armenia will remain adherent to the flexible policy of “floating” rate of dram## against foreign currency, held since 1993, and does not plan to make any changes to the given order. Deputy Chairman of the Armenian CB Artur Javadyan said this in an interview to Mediamax today.According to him, the fluctuation of the Armenian dram rate is milder and more seldom, than the fluctuation of the dollar and the euro in the international market. In the nearest future, analytical material will be published concerning the issue, Artur Javadyan stated. Armenia actively participates in “Egmont” International Financial Group, Javadyan stated. He noted that the foreign specialists give high assessment to the processes of financial monitoring carried out in Armenia. “Our country joined many international agreements on combating criminal money-laundering and funding of international terrorism”, Artur Javadyan stated.
