Yerevan /Mediamax/. Brandy production in Armenia in 2007 made 14079.3 thousand liters, having increased as compared to 2006 by 55.4%.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service, the vodka and alcoholic beverage production in 2007 made 12731 thousand liters, having decreased for 0.4%, as compared to 2006.

The volume of wine production for 2007 made 3649.6 thousand liters, having decreased as compared to 2006 by 4.7%. Beer production in the accounting period decreased for 7.8% and made 11631.4 thousand liters, and the champagne wine production - 578.7 thousand liters (growth – 6.6%).

In 2007, alcoholic beverages at the total sum of 53032.3mln drams were produced in Armenia, which exceeds the index of 2006 for 20.2%.
