Yerevan, February 4 /Mediamax/. Post delivery in Yerevan corresponds to the European standards, the General Director of “HayPost” CJSC Hans Boon stated.

Mediamax reports that, speaking during the meeting with the employees of “HayPost” in Yerevan today, Hans Boon informed that 98% of all the mail, received by the postal departments of “HayPost” in Yerevan up to 18:00, is delivered to the addressees next morning, which is analogous to the work of postal departments in such cities, as Amsterdam and Brussels.

“We are proud by the results, achieved in 2007, and we plan to accelerate the delivery of mail to the regions of Armenia in the nearest future”, Hans Boon stated.

He also noted that “HayPost” is preparing to implement in Armenia an “International Postal Express-Service”, allowing delivering letters to any part of the world in the course of 48 hours.

Hans Boon informed that the membership of “HayPost” in international postal organizations allows the company becoming a “more European” postal operator. “This assists the exchange of experience with postal operators of other countries, holding joint meetings and personnel retraining courses”, Hans Boon stated.
