According to new report published by the World Economy Forum, Armenia has improved its Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index by 5 ranks in 2019.Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has mentioned the news as well, noting:“Armenia ranks at 79 now instead of 84.”The Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index measures the set of factors and policies that enable the sustainable development of the travel and tourism sector of the country.This year Spain, France and Germany ranked the highest.Georgia scored 68 in the index and Iran got 89, while Azerbaijan is ranked 71 and Turkey sits 43rd.Yemen occupies the last place in the list of 140 countries.
