Yerevan, November 22 /Mediamax/. Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Tigran Sarkisian made a statement today in connection with the Day of the banking worker.

Mediamax reports that Tigran Sarkisian noted that “the formation and the development of the banking system in Armenia was accompanied with difficulties and certain distrust from the part of the society, however, year after year, new achievements were registered in the system, which transformed the distrust into a stable and well-founded confidence”.

Chairman of the Armenian CB stated that “the banking system is able to make a major advance and form a new attitude towards itself and towards the lifestyle of the society”. According to Tigran Sarkisian, one may say with confidence that the banking system, in which 6.500 people are involved, will continue meeting the requirements of the time and will not be satisfied with the present achievements.
