U.S. Embassy in Armenia is ready to continue facilitating dialogue between relevant Armenian officials and Lydian company.

The embassy said this in a comment, requested from Banks.am on Lydian company’s statement about the existence of disputes with the Armenian government.


“We understand notices of the existence of a dispute under the UK-Armenia and Canada-Armenia bilateral investment treaties have recently been submitted by subsidiaries of Lydian International Limited, relating to the Amulsar Gold Project. We hope that all sides are actively exploring all possible options for a mutually agreeable resolution to the dispute that avoids litigation. The Embassy stands ready to continue facilitating dialogue between appropriate Armenian government officials and the company,” U.S. Embassy told Banks.am.
