“Argentine Tango Week in Armenia” event kicks off on September 11 with support from the companies of the group managed by Argentine businessman of Armenian descent Eduardo Eurnekian, including Converse Bank.The initiative is with the Embassy of Argentina in Armenia.“For the second year in a row, Converse Bank customers are the first to enjoy performances of dance couples from Argentina,” said the bank.“Having direct relation to Argentina, we support various, also cultural, initiatives aimed at development of bilateral affairs, the main purpose of which is to popularize the Argentine culture. This year, hundreds of people not only in Yerevan, but also in Gyumri and Ijevan, will have the opportunity to watch Argentine tango and take part in master classes within the framework of the Tango Week,” said Juliana Del Aguila-Eurnekian, a representative of the Eurnekian family in Armenia.She has added that Mr. Eduardo Eurnekian had been actively engaged in investment and charitable activity in Armenia for about two decades, supporting projects designed for expansion of bilateral affairs.“The purpose of such events is to bring closer the two nations. Tango, being a highly emotional and passionate dance, perfectly conveys the specifics of Argentine culture.
