PricewaterhouseCoopers Armenia LLC summed up 2017 with the official opening of PwC’s Academy in Armenia.The event was attended by PwC Clients, officials and PwC staff. In his welcoming speech Andrew Tyler, PwC Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Russia Client Training Academy Leader, presented the experience of Global PwC’s Academy and mentioned the importance of opening PwC’s Academy in Armenia.Victor Nalbandyan, Country Managing Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers Armenia LLC, welcomed all participants and extended special thanks to PwC Armenia Clients for their continuous cooperation, and noted PwC’s Academy’s mission, which is to bring the good practice and knowledge of PwC’s global network to the country, giving Armenian specialists an opportunity to participate in various workshops provided by PwC’s Academy in Armenia.During the event the participants were introduced to the programs offered by PwC’s Academy in Armenia and took part in the lottery where three of the participants won a special prize - free participation in one of the trainings of their choice, organised by PwC’s Academy in Armenia.PwC’s Academy in Armenia organised training programs in December 2017 on IFRS-2017 updates and in January 2018, covering the new Armenian Tax Code.
