On December 5 Philip Morris Armenia (PMA) signed Memorandums of Understanding with Armenian National Polytechnic University (Polytechnic) and Yerevan State University (YSU). According to the memorandum with Polytechnic, PMA plans to discuss the establishment of an R&D facility in Armenia, including the establishment of research laboratories within the premises of Polytechnic. “In addition, PMA is interested in discussing the possibility of fostering and developing educational and research initiatives in areas of interest to PMA,” the company noted.
