The Russian “VimpelCom” operator did not give up the plans to reach its share of “ArmenTel” to 100% and now it is working out the scheme of the deal with the Armenian government. The General Director of “VimpelCom” Izosimov said this, Mediamax reports quoting Prime-Tass. He stated that “VimpelCom” plans in the course of a few years to increase the number of “ArmenTel” subscribers by 1mln, spending about $100 investments to attract each subscriber. “The number of the subscribers will increase by about 1mln in the course of a few years, until the market is satisfied”, Alexander Izosimov stated. He noted that “ArmenTel” does not have a GPRS-platform. Asked about the re-branding of “ArmenTel”, Izosimov stated that traditionally, the re-branding is being carried out only in half a year after the purchase of the company. Tweet Views 6701
