Yerevan, August 4. During the first 5 months of 2005, through the banking system of Armenia $197,9mln funds of non-commercial character addressed to individuals were received from Russia, ARKA news agency reports. Such information can be found in the monthly Directory of the Central Bank of Armenia for May 2006.

According to the given statistic data, that index exceeded for 27,66% the level of the January-May period of 2005 ($155mln).

During the same period, $36mln was transferred to Russia from Armenia, as opposed to $29,4mln in the January-May period of 2005 (22,5% growth).

As a result, during the January-May period of 2006, the net inflow of resources from Russia made $161,9mln, as opposed to $125,6mln in January-May period of 2005, i.e. the growth made 28,86%.

Factually, 70,5% of all non-commercial transfers to Armenia addressed to individuals fall to Russia’s share, and 51,32% of all transfers from Armenia were addressed to Russia, and Russia’s share in the net flow of resources to Armenia made 76,9% during the January-May period of 2006. During the same period of 2005, the indices made correspondingly 66,32%, 38,78% and 79,54%

According to the data of the Central Bank of Armenia, in the January-May period of 2006, all in all $280,7mln funds of non-commercial character were received through the banking system of Armenia addressed to individuals, having grown by 20,1%, and the transfers from Armenia to other countries made $70,2mln for the same period, having decreased for 7,4%.

As a result, the net inflow of funds for the January-May period of 2006 made $210,5, having grown by 33,3%.
