The Control Service of the Armenian President announced about the disclosure of “serious abuses and cases of fraud” after studying the transparency and legality of privatization of the state property and conducting land auctions. As Mediamax learned in the Armenian President’s Control Service today, “as a result of this the state has suffered big damages.” “The sums paid by the citizens and organizations through middlemen for acquiring land or property did not enter the budget or entered partially, and false documentation was submitted to the state cadastre.” The President’s Control Service stated that criminal proceedings have been instituted based on disclosed facts. The President’s Control Service stated that the citizens who in last two years have conducted mediate deals with the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre and then revealed the difference between the sums paid and set in the documents, may appeal to the President’s Control Service by calling: 58-87-01 and 58-87-02.
