Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Wings of Tatev” aerial tramway joined International Organization for Transportation by Rope (OITAF).

The decision was made at the session of the managing board of OITAF in Bolzano.

OITAF membership indicates the recognition of “Tatev Wings” by international community of operators of ropeways and gives a number of benefits, such as the following:

- support to researches and experiments in the sphere of ropeways management;

- assistance to establishing standards for national regulators in the ropeway sphere;

- holding of seminars and conferences for producers and operators of ropeways;

OITAF was set up in Milan in 1959. Ropeways from 22 countries are currently represented in the organization.
