Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board Viktor Khristenko today.The meeting focused on the prospects and areas of cooperation between Armenia and the Commission, regional integration processes and the Customs Union.Viktor Khristenko presented the Armenian PM the processes going on within the Customs Union.Touching upon the process of Armenia's European integration, Tigran Sargsyan noted that the talks on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the EU which Armenia is going to complete in 2013 are currently proceeding well.The PM stressed that Armenia is interested in the integration processes and considers them from the standpoint of their complementarity.It should be recalled that head of the Department of Trade and Market Management at the Armenian Ministry of Economy Gagik Kocharyan said in his recent interview to Mediamax:"The Customs Union provides that there are no customs points between the member states and they can't pursue their foreign trade policy on their own any more. Today, we are holding talks on the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) with the EU which will yield considerable results for Armenia and if we join the Customs Union we'll have to forget about the DCFTA".
