During today’s session of the Armenian government, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said that one of the most important tasks in 2012 will be to sustain the rates of agriculture growth.Today, the government of Armenia made a decision to allocate AMD 1 billion from the reserve fund to acquire nitric fertilizers and give them to farmers at an affordable price, Mediamax reports.Presenting the project, Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan noted that 25 thousand tones of nitric fertilizers have already been purchased and will be distributed to farmers by April at the price of AMD 120 per one kilogram, i.e. AMD 6000 for one bag of fertilizers.“We have to get ready for spring sowing today in order to make fertilizers affordable for farmers in due time.
