Yerevan, June 24. /Mediamax/. After the law on “Free Economic Zones” comes into effect in Armenia, three such zones are planned to be set up. Mediamax reports that Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan informed on this at a meeting with journalists today. He said that one of them will be the agricultural zone in the territory of “Zvartnots” Airport, where some terminals already function. According to him, the second zone will be established on the basis of “Mars” Plant. The negotiations with “Sitronics” Company concerning this issue are at the final stage. The third one will be a free economic zone for high technologies. “We should be careful as to the issue of establishing free economic zones in order not to undermine the tax and customs environment. If these programs are successful, we will expand the sphere”, Tigran Davtyan said. Tweet Views 4572
