Yerevan/Mediamax/. Yerevan “Zvartnots” Airport sees no necessity to intensify security measures, since serious mechanisms, meant to provide security of passengers and Airport employees, operate in all terminals.

Spokesman of “Zvartnots” Airport Gevorg Abramyan said this today in an interview to Mediamax, answering the question on possible intensification of security measures in connection with yesterday’s terrorist act in Moscow “Domodedovo” Airport.

In an interview to Mediamax, Gevorg Abramyan stressed that the security level at “Zvartnots” Airport meets the norms, established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transportation Association (IATA).

Spokesman also noted that security in public zones of the Airport is realized by the Police employees in close cooperation with security service of “Zvartnots” Airport.
