Yerevan/Mediamax/. Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) presented “Ameriabank” a loan at the volume of USD 30mln for small and medium enterprise (SME) financing. Mediamax reports that “Ameriabank” CEO Artak Anesyan informed today that financing from EDB means will be provided for the term of up to 5 years at the average annual interest rate of 14%. Deputy Chairman of EDB Board of Directors Marat Dzhaukenov stated that funding is provided within the framework of “SME Support via Provision of Target Credit Lines to Financial Institutions” Program, which functions in the bank, noting that this loan will help small and medium enterprises of the country solve the task of long-term financing, necessary for capital investments. Artak Anesyan stated that the bank plans to have placed the means, attracted from EDB, by the end of 2011. According to him, SME share in credit portfolio of the bank makes about one fourth, and in 2010, the portfolio of SME crediting in “Ameriabank” increased by USD 30mln. Tweet Views 17259
