Yerevan/Mediamax/. The project on reequipping 17 substations of “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC is complete. The project was realized by “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC together with Chinese HPCC Company. To fund the project, the Armenian government attracted credit means at the volume of USD 35mln, provided by Japanese Bank for International Cooperation. Taking into account co-financing of the project by “ENA” CJSC, in total USD 45mln was spent on works to reconstruct the substations. From 101 substations with the capacity of 110 kilovolt, 17 objects were chosen for reconstruction works. 12 of them are located in Yerevan and 5 – in Abovyan, Aparan, Etchmiadzin, Armavir and Sotq towns. Indices of depreciation of the substations and their level of load became criteria for choosing the objects of reconstruction. The program of reconstruction was realized in a few stages, each of them including repair of four power substations. Realization of the program will lead to reduction of technical losses and operational expenses on updated substations, as well as to improvement of their control. Tweet Views 18526
