Yerevan/Mediamax/. Andrus Alber, former Economic Advisor of the Estonian President, Chairman of the Board of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn, is appointed member of “NASDAQ OMX Armenia” and Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) Supervisory Boards.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of “NASDAQ OMX Armenia”, Andrus Alber joined NASDAQ OMX in February 2007, and has since held the position of the Chairman of the Management Board of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn. He is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Council of the Estonian Central Securities Depository.

With Alber’s appointment, Johan Fredholm’s status of the member of the Supervisory Board of the Central Depository of Armenia is terminated, however, he will continue as a member of the Supervisory Board of “NASDAQ OMX Armenia”.
 
Andrus Alber has graduated from Tallinn University of Technology and has a Masters degree from Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in USA. Most of his work experience is related to the central bank where his last position was adviser to the Governor. Alber has also worked at the European Commission, the IMF and was the economic Adviser to President of the Republic of Estonia.
