Yerevan/Mediamax/. By joint efforts of “HSBC Bank Armenia” and Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center (SME DNC), a Trade Academy will be established in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that the Chief Executive Director of Astrid Clifford and SME DNC Director Ishkhan Karapetyan announced this in Yerevan today.

In the Academy, which will be launched within the nearest months, experts of the Trade Financing Department of “HSBC Bank Armenia” will teach representatives of Armenian companies tools and nuances of trade financing and procedures, related to international trade operations.

“Armenia, as opposed to many Asian countries, actively involved in international trade, is passive in cooperating with the global market. Armenian companies lack sufficient experience and knowledge in the sphere of international trade operations”, HSBC Group Head of Trade and Supply Chain for Europe Stuart Nivison stated.
