Yerevan/Mediamax/. “HSBC Bank Armenia” is content with the layout of the former bond issue and is ready to enter capital market of Armenia again after restoring the demand for AMD resources, said General Director of the Bank Astrid Clifford.

Mediamax informs, speaking at the news conference in Yerevan today, Astrid Clifford stated that at present a lack of demand for AMD assets is observed in the market, and that is why the Bank has temporized.

Answering the forecasts, concerning AMD future policy, “HSBC Bank Armenia” Deputy Director Irina Seylanyan said that the Bank expects no sharp currency fluctuations. “During the period after last year`s March devaluation, AMD remained quite steady and underwent only seasonal fluctuations: it was tightened in the middle of 2009, along with the activation of investments in economy and weakened in winter”, said Irina Seylanyan.
