Yerevan /Mediamax/. Process of attaching customs mediation functions to “HayPost” national postal operator is launched.

PR Manager of “HayPost” Gevorg Abramyan informed Mediamax on this. He noted that the process will require much time, since in the first place one should make a number of changes in customs legislation of the country, as well as define the status of postal messengers.

Gevorg Abramyan noted that the main goal of the innovation is to simplify the procedure of transferring postal cargoes through collecting customs duties on the spot.

Armenian government made a decision in early February on realization of customs mediation by “HayPost”.
