Yerevan /Mediamax/. Opening of “Ameriabank” new head office took place in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that Armenian President Serzh Sargsian, Speaker of the parliament Hovik Abramyan, President of “Troika Dialogue” Group of Companies and Chairman of “Ameriabank” Board of Directors Ruben Vardanyan, representatives of governmental and business circles of Armenia were present at the opening.

Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan singled out the significant role of “Ameriabank” in the country’s banking system. “The bank has registered special progress over the recent two years”, Artur Javadyan stated, noting that in the mentioned period the bank’s assets increased 6 times, and the liabilities – 7 times.
