Yerevan /Mediamax/. Presentation of Yerevan-Batumi railroad trip presentation with new railway vehicles took place in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that the trip presentation ceremony was attended by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian, Speaker of the Parliament Hovik Abramyan, Minister of Transport and Communication Gurgen Sargsian and General Director of “South Caucasus Railroad” CJSC (SCR) Shevket Shaidullin.

The first trip with new railway vehicles will take place at 22.30 today. The new train will depart for Batumi every other day. Duration of the trip makes 18 hours. The train may transport approximately 350 people.

Cost of one-end tickets in a compartment carriage makes 10.5 thousand AMD, SV carriage – 22 thousand AMD, and second-class sleeping carriage – 7000 AMD.
