Yerevan Mediamax/. Armenian government made a decision today to hand the rights for distributing loan means of the WB at the volume of $50mln from the Ministry of Finance to the Central Bank.

As the Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Davtyan stated at the session of the government today, in early April, WB will provide the Armenian government with a loan at the volume of $50mln to credit small and medium enterprise (SME). The given means will be distributed among commercial banks of Armenia.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian stated today that the leadership of the country takes up efforts to attract new means for SME crediting.

Head of the government also stated that 2bln AMD will also be allocated from the state budget to finance construction works in Spitak earthquake zone. According to him, the given decision will be both socially and economically important.
