From now on, the classification of hotels in Armenia will be carried out by the Armenian Hotel Association. “After nearly four years of negotiations, legislative amendments, and the united efforts of the hospitality sector, the long-awaited result has finally been achieved,” the Association reported.The Armenian Hotel Association NGO has been selected by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia as the association authorized to grant classifications to accommodation establishments (AEs). The Association will carry out the classification of hotels and other accommodation establishments based on European standards, applying the criteria of Hotelstars Union, the renowned pan-European hotel classification organization.On this occasion, Hotelstars Union President Markus Luthe sent a congratulatory message to the Armenian Hotel Association, a long-standing member of the Union.“On behalf of the entire Hotelstars Union, I would like to warmly congratulate the Armenian Hotel Association on its successful bid.
