INGO insurance introduces a new supplementary package to the Universal Health Insurance

INGO Insurance Company has introduced a new health insurance package designed to expand the coverage provided under Armenia’s Universal Health Insurance (UHI) system, effective from January 1.

The company reported that while UHI remains mandatory, this package functions as an additional insurance solution, enhancing access to healthcare services while maintaining affordability.

Through its wide partner network, INGO ensures access to all licensed medical institutions in Armenia and reputable specialists, enabling customers to obtain medical services without requiring a referral from a polyclinic.

Depending on the selected package, coverage includes outpatient and inpatient care, medications, dental services, oncology, cardiology and other key services that fall outside the scope of UHI coverage.

The company offers flexible payment options, allowing customers to pay in small monthly installments or a single annual payment, ensuring both affordability and financial convenience. Customers who opt for annual payment can also benefit from discounts of up to 16%.

“With the launch of this supplementary package, our objective was to provide coverage for medical services not included in the Universal Health Insurance system. While UHI ensures access to a broad range of essential healthcare services, it does have certain financial and service-related limitations. INGO’s solution is designed to complement this framework by covering additional services that would otherwise require out-of-pocket payments,” noted Rafik Suvaryan, CEO of INGO Insurance Company.
